Background & Strategy Kickoff
In the contemporary era, dating apps have become the primary way to meet partners. However, many women still feel scared and hesitant about going on a date with a stranger.
Login Screen
These two login screens are designed to verify the user's identity. The user must register through a social platform and then verify their face photos. This process ensures that users cannot create unreliable profiles with fake pictures.
Final Design
Main Screen
You can see here the new pictures that came in, one of them
is the blue star which shows that the pictures are true and not of an impostor. Another thing I added here is a mutual friends icon
Icon Named: Familiar
If the user recognizes the person in the photo, they can click
this icon and answer questions about how they know them
and provide additional information.
Women Who Know Orel
These screens were designed to gather more details about a person from other women, enhancing security and providing personal insights about potential contacts. Seeing that someone is well-known by others fosters a sense of trust and empowerment.
This feature came about in a study we conducted showing that 65.6% of women would like to receive more information about the person they are dating from other women.

Safe Date - Bodyguard Feature
When I want to add a bodyguard to a date, I go to the Safe Date page, and a list of contacts from my phone opens. I can then select two women who know I went on a date, and I can call them if necessary. They are always visible on my profile page

Insights
In researching the topic, I received responses and insights from many women. Conversations with different app users guided me in refining the plugins while taking care of the user's sensitivity.
What next?
Focus the questionnaire on a familiar person and refine the questions in such a way that they do not harm that familiar person and that they do give added value to that persona that you wish to get to know.
Next steps include partnering with meeting places like restaurants and pubs locations to provide users with close and secure meeting options, improve overall safety and in-app assistance.
